Great episode! Liked the discussion of “permission-less browser clipboard write” (shown at http://webplatform.news), esp. the example of a malicious website rewriting a crypto wallet address in the clipboard without the user realizing it.

However, how does a website know the clipboard contains a wallet address to overwrite, in the first place?

Does coffee increase cancer risk? | Interviews | Naked Scientists

September 16, 2022

Liked the discussion of the paper by @stevesphd on Coffee Consumption
& Cancer Risk (https://clinicalnutritionjournal.com/article/S0261-5614(22)00313-2/fulltext). However, I was surprised that the elevation of stomach acid & GERD from caffeine was not mentioned as a potential reason for the association with esophageal cancer.

https://www.science.org/content/article/chewing-burns-more-calories-you-think-and-may-have-shaped-our-evolution Great article! Wondered about the implications of chewing for weight loss: Perhaps humans so readily “overeat” because they don’t have to spend so much time chewing.
