September 12, 2026My revised checklist for this year’s race
* GENERAL
Garmin & heart rate strap (practice tri mode, using bottom right button betw stages)
warmups & warmup top – Post-race, warm change of clothes
T-shirt (blueberry)
(black) tri shorts for the whole thing
inh. in backpack
1 carbohydrate bar (all that’s necessary)
Gatorade
iPhone in ziplock with cleaning cloth
Mailbox for everything
stretch list
emergency contact printout
* SWIM
goggles (with corrective lenses)
pool slippers
2 Towels
Wetsuit
swim cap (they provide)
* BIKE
Bike (sans carriers)
Helmet
Cycling shoes & socks
cycling gloves
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
– Floor pump (pump up your tires before you leave home, but leave the pump in the car just in case)
– bike loading ramp
Not necessary:
Water bottle(s) [proper one next time!]
* RUN
Running shoes with extra foam
large hat
